{Christmas Day}

William was a little more aware of Christmas this year.  He must have been a good boy because Santa gave him lots of presents. It was so fun watching him open his gifts. He couldn't quite decide which toys he should play with first. Ed made us a breakfast casserole and pancake for brunch. I had to pause a couple of times coz I kept thanking the Lord for all these blessings. After lunch, it was off to granddaddy and grandmommy's house. William was literally mesmerized by all the toys around the Christmas tree.Look at that big smile on his face.Granddaddy gave him a big Christmas tree cookie.  To say he LOVED it is an under statement and don't you dare take it away from him.
The grandkids had a great time opening their gifts. Ed's parents always find the coolest gifts.

Here's William and me in our matching red and blue Christmas day outfit:)

{Noche Buena}

This was our first time hosting Christmas Eve, or Nochebuena-the Good Night- and that means Filipinos all over the world were having a feast. We did not travel to Vidalia this year. Instead my parents and  brother drove up to Atlanta to join us and my sister who recently moved to Atlanta (who by the way owns this fabulous apartment:)). We went to church in the afternoon and had dinner at our house. I can't believe I didn't took pictures of our feast---Lechon Asado(Roasted Pork), Grilled Milkfish, chicken macaroni salad, pancit(lo mein), ham(from Honeybaked) and Adobo. I must say, I did well and not bad at all for my first time attempt at cooking a traditional feast.  Ed was loving the roasted pork and we plan to make this a yearly tradition.

William was so happy that he can finally open some of the Christmas bags/gifts.
The lil drummer boy!
Our family photo.
My sister opening her "surpise" (she asked for it) gift. :)

I love this sweater for Mom.
Cute sweater from my parents.
Nike running hat for my brother.

I can't believe that I didn't take any picture of my Dad. He was sitting next to me and I just forgot to snap his way :(

On another note, I asked my brother to take a picture of me in my Christmas Outfit. I found this Michael Kors dress for a great deal and I was just soooo proud of my self for finding a great bargain. Love, love finding classic and good quality clothes for so lil $$:)

Our Gingerbread House

Last night, we had fun "assembling" our gingerbread house. This is one of my favorite Christmas activities. This is William's first time building one and he is quite a help! :)

Here's Ed reading the instruction om how to build the house while William listens intensely:)

Alright Dad got it, let's go!Framing the house...Ed's the crafty one in the family so we always have this joke that he'll be the one in charge on making goodies when our kids starts participating in school bake sales.William was more interested in "eating" candy.Here I am trying to put some finishing touches on our gingerbread house.And may I present to you the Culler's 2008 Gingerbread House.....I think it turned out great!

I hope that y'all are enjoying the holiday season and spending time with your love ones!

Ricky's Pre-Wedding Celebration

Ashwin's lil brother is getting this married today. Rupel and Ashwin hosted a pre-wedding bash for the groom last night. We had a great time and it was really nice to share this special occasion with good friends and experience their culture.This was officially our "first" time to have a date night and it was fun to have some one on one time. Yay, for my sister moving to Atlanta and being 2 miles away from us :)

Fun time with my girls. Love all the beautiful Indian outfit. Technically mine were not but I think it was close enough:) Also love how we've all grown and our friendship remains strong.  We all have a busy schedule and it was really nice to able to spend some time together.
Lots of activities from the night....The ladies had mehndi(hand painting) done. Henna is applied to the skin to form a temporary skin decorations. It is typically done for special occasions like weddings and festivals.
Some belly dancing, which was really fun and kept the crowd going.
Even had the chance to play with a Lamborghini (Me as a passanger and Ed as a driver). It was so cool. Too funny coz when we were cruising around, people were pulling out their camera phones and taking pictures of us (though I'm sure of the car)....but I felt like a celebrity! Hahaha!

Busy Weekend

What a busy weekend...sorry for lack of blogging, my real job is getting in the way with blogging :) Inspite of our crazy schedule, I am greatful and feel extremely blessed to be able to celebrate this Christmas season with wonderful friends and family.

Started the weekend with a quick Secret Santa lunch at our house. Clint and Monica travelled all the way from Alabama to spend some time with us. We love it!Here we are helping William open his Christmas gifts from the Secret Santa event.The next day, we had Dirty Santa with more friends at this fabulous Thai restaurant. We've been having our gift exchange for years and we decided to spice it by "stealing" each other's gift :)Here's Ed, fascilitating the exchange. Yah, it's that complicated :) And the biggest event from the weekend...The Holzapfels welcomed the newest member of their family, Brooke Kathleen Holzapfel. Congratulations Darren and Heather! She's adorable.

December visit at Tennessee

This past weekend we all went to Tennessee to visit family. It's a long drive but so worth it coz we always have a great time and William loves being out there. Even way before we were married, I've always told Ed how much I love going. Aside from being able to indulge on yummy homemade desserts, we enjoy the great company of Ed's grandparents and Aunt who are one the sweetest and funniest people I've ever met.

William had a blast playing with smiley stickers. Aunt Sonja is a teacher so I guess William got some stickers coz he's being good :)

William loves playing chase and hide and seek. Here's greatgranddaddy trying to chase him. By this time, you can hear loud giggles and squeal.
It snowed a lil while we were up there. Here's William watching the snow falls. GG and Greatgrandaddy's house has this big window with the great view of the mountain.
