{The Nutcracker at the Fox}

Samantha and I had such a great mother and daughter time to her first Nutcracker show at the Fabulous Fox theatre. The abridged version was perfect for this little 4 year old of mine. She was in awe on the spectacular theatre and the music and dancing was just magical.

After the show, picked up ornaments to always remind us of this fun and special time together. A pink ballerina for Samantha and a nutcracker ornament especially picked by little for his best big brother.

I love being able to get one on one time with each kid and build wonderful sweet memories with them. We finished off our day with a chicken and waffle lunch at the near by Bantam+Biddy restaurant. Yum! Yum!

{Samantha's Frozen Party}

Our lil princess' Frozen party was a success! I'd have to say this is the one party where she was super excited and was involved in the planning. It was fun (and stressful) looking at all the pins in Pinterest :) In the end, Samantha had a great party surrounded with wonderful friends and family. A very happy birthday girl here!

{Happy 4th Birthday Samantha}

{Ladies who Lunch}

Love both kids to pieces, but I also treasure one on one time with each of them. Samantha's preschool was closed last Friday for a teacher development training. It was a beautiful day for a quality mother daughter time. Took her to her first Swan Coach House Lunch.

The Swan Coach House is an Atlanta Tradition and located near the Governor's Mansion. It's so elegant inside with it's old style floral wall paper and  proper table setting. All the dishes have lil swan on it. It's a place that a fine lady will appreciate and men (Ed and William) will hate :)

We indulge our Southern selves, with the most delish lunch fair ever...the Swan favorite for me and chicken and fruit for my lil princess.

She told me in the car, that this place was a place for well manners. Starting 'em young!

{Trick or Treating 2013}

We had a  great first trick or treating at our new neighborhood. A cute picture of our lil ones in their adorable outfits. Samantha chose to be Izzy from her favorite show Jake and The Neverland Pirate. William chose to be Inky, the blue ghost from Pacman.

The birthday boy requested to go to his favorite sandwich place for his birthday dinner.

Both kids had a great time meeting kids from the neighborhood. What a fun event this was. Almost all of the homes in our neighborhood were handing out candies (good ones, might I say) and partaking in the festivities.

{Christmas Morning 2012}

Santa came to our house!!!

Just when I thought Christmas morning last year was great, this year was even better. Both kids are a lil older and truly get the whole idea of Santa.  The excitement and energy at our house was unreal!!!

William got up first, loft living doesn't really allow you to hold off of your child from going into the living room :) He immediately saw the presents under the tree and quickly recognized that the orange Furby and Skylanders  on his wish list were under the tree.

Shortly after Samantha was up and ready to play with Dora House and Furby that Santa left for her.

The Furbys were definitely a big hit. They are way more sophisticated than the older version. You can feed them thru your iphone...Unfortunately, no off button still and they will talk non stop.

They picked a present for each other. Samantha got William a Beyblade launcher. William picked up a Doc Mcstuffin rockstar for Samantha.

This year's biggest surprise for William was a Nintendo 3DS. He couldn't believe it! He's been wanting one and thought that it's only for bigger kids. Since he's "close" to 6, we said he can have one.

The biggest surprise for Samantha was her kitchen. She loves it and was ready to make breakfast for the whole family.

Ed and I don't give each other wish lists on Christmas. I love the element of surprise. The presents we pick up for each other are usually "wants" that one would never buy on their own. Ed picked out a  Kendra Scott earrings for me. The kids helped him pick out a Tory Burch sandal for me. They said that it's perfect for our next beach trip. I love it!

The kids and I got Ed a Mizzuno flat running shoes. He loved it! Funny, how the kids were adamant that Dad will love it since it's orange and a running shoes. Two of Ed's favorite things. He also got some gap slacks.

Our favorite present this year. This ornament that has been sitting under the tree all wrapped up and tied in a cute bow. William's been telling us that we can't open it till Christmas morning. We love it!

{Allison's 3rd Birthday Party}

William's original BFF had a spectacular 3rd birthday party at Monkey Joe's this past weekend. The birthday girl had an Ariel theme party. Her momma made her this special cake. This recipe has been with their family for years and it is their tradition to serve it to family birthdays.
Allison will be a big sister soon and she's so excited!The "R" family is special to us and we are happy to celebrate this big day with them!
Monkey Joe's is perfect for kids! William had so much fun and Samantha really enjoyed watching all the activities.
