{Remembering Dad}
Today marked the first year of us bidding farewell to my Dad. I can't believe that it's been that long. Not a day pass by without me thinking of him. I miss him dearly but I know that he's watching over me. We held a mass service for him this past Memorial Day in Vidalia. Memorial day has a totally different meaning to me now. Last Memorial day, I got an early call from my family that my Dad didn't wake up from sleep. It was a sad day, but I was somehow comforted by the thought that he died peacefully and didn't struggle. For some reason, I had the feeling that it will happen soon. He's been in the hospital for almost a month and he just wanted to be home--Vidalia was home to him.
It also amazes me that William, even at such a young age, "understands" that his Lolo is gone. Nobody told him this, but he tells people that his Lolo is in heaven and is an angel.
Sometimes I get sad that Samantha never really had the chance to get to know her Lolo. He would have loved seeing her grow. My Dad loves kids. He was always excited to see his grandkids.
I am comforted though by how much she loves my Mom. She laughs all the time with her an will often ask me to facetime with her Lola. My Mom is an amazing woman. I couldn't be more proud of her. She's a strong person. Her dedication and support to my Dad during his ill time is truly inspiring and a great example of demonstrating the marriage vows.
My parents are awesome people. As evident by the group of people who showed up at church and our lunch get together. In true memory of Dad, we had it at his favorite Chinese restaurant in Vidalia. The same place where we had his "80th" or oops 79th party :)
I love my family! Our parents did a great job instilling family values to us. I am very blessed to have a loving and supportive siblings. My Ate Tess was in the Philippines but she's definitely in spirit with us.
I love that we are surrounded by wonderful people who are family to us. We can not thank them enough for their continuous support and encouragement.
I love that I have a husband who is always comforting in difficult times. I know that my father is proud of him and couldn't be happier that I have him.
{North Georgia}
We decided to take off the Friday after William's graduation to kick off our Memorial Day weekend and ring in the summer. We wanted to do something fun and decided that a quick trip to North Georgia would be a great day trip. Every time we drive to Tennessee we pass by this cute and charming store called Goats In the Roof. We always have our dog Riley with us so we never had the chance to go in. Goats are literally in the roof and the store carries a bunch of fun stuff.
Here's William pedaling and sending goat treats.
Another way to send food to the goats.
Yummy taffy candies for the kids.
Tallulah falls is located just a couple of miles from Goats on The Roof so we thought it'd be fun to take the kids hiking. A first for both of them and they absolutely love it!. Lots of steps. It took 620 steps to get to the bottom and near the suspension bridge. The kids did great and walked most of it.
We were rewarded with a magnificent view of the falls.
Samantha was smiling so big and she even said "I love this". I think we have an outdoorsy girl in here.
It was an absolutely great time for our family. My kids loved exploring the outdoors.
It was so fun to hear how William sees this adventure.
They very much enjoyed listening to their Dad about the fun facts of Tallulah falls.
Tallulah falls is the perfect place to take lil ones to hiking. Very beautiful and walkable paths.

{William's Pre-K Graduation}
When the school Director asked us last year if we are okay in enrolling William to their Pre-K program as under four years old, we were a bit surprised. We know that GA strictly enforced the age requirement and didn't realized that the kid's daycare being a private pre-k can be flexible with age. She assured us that she's confident that William will do well and has the maturity to cope and learn at the Pre-K level. A year has gone by and she was right. Not only has he done ok, but he's done really well. He finished in the Advanced level on the Bracken testing conducted for his age group.We are so proud of him and have enjoyed seeing and hearing about all the wonderful things he's learned at school.
My Pre-K graduate getting reading for the big day.
A family picture with our lil boy.
Proud Grandparents and Godfather wouldn't miss this big day.
The off he marched to begin graduation. Yes, both Mommy and Daddy got teary eyed. We couldn't be more proud of him.
Sitting with his fellow graduates and close buddies Josh and Jackson.
Receiving his diploma and Premonition award-his teachers and school administration came out with a list of what they think the kids will be when they grow up based on their personality.
William's premonition award. How sweet and kind of his teachers!
William has been blessed to have such wonderful teachers. He loves Ms Smithers and Ms Turner. I love that the kids demonstrated different skills and knowledge that they learned throughout the year. William's part was to tell time.
Lil sister was beaming with pride!

{End of Spring Tee Ball}
It was a longer than normal season but our lil boy toughed it out and except from the time we were at the beach he made every practice and game because he made a commitment to his team. He's made a lot of stops and at the end of season was hitting the ball off of the tee. We couldn't be more proud of him.
William's coaches comment to him was so sweet. "He calls himself fire. Today he named all his team pizza. He's one of the funniest kid. He's one of my favorite. He's everybody's favorite- William Culler"
It was so personal and made all the kids smile big.
This has been definitely a fun season for William. He's truly enjoyed the sport and most of all he's very much enjoyed being friends with all his teammates. Way to go William!
