{Samantha's Frozen Party}

Our lil princess' Frozen party was a success! I'd have to say this is the one party where she was super excited and was involved in the planning. It was fun (and stressful) looking at all the pins in Pinterest :) In the end, Samantha had a great party surrounded with wonderful friends and family. A very happy birthday girl here!

{Easter 2014}

We had a busy Easter weekend filled with various festivities.
Enjoyed the beautiful wedding and headed to church for the Easter morning service.

Earlier that morning, the Easter Bunny stopped by our house and left the kiddies some goodies.

Good Friday, William's Godfather came to visit. We had egg dyeing activity for the kids, while the grown up battle eggs.

The kids each had their own egg hunting event at their schools. William's class egg hunt was awesome! Each kid had a list of eggs that they had to hunt for. They have a lil cheat sheet and this made the egg hunt/scavenger hunt so fun! Two special eggs must be found by each kid. An egg with their name on it, and had a special candy inside. And a prize egg specific for a boy or girl, that has a number inside, and they can trade it in for a special toy.

Lots of preparation from his teachers and parental volunteers made this event so succesful!

Little siblings were welcome at the hunt. Special tiny eggs were placed for them.

It was so fun to volunteer to this event, each parents had a bag of candy and we were assigned a specific egg design. Kids trade those egg with us for a piece of candy.

Saturday morning, we got up early for soccer and came hurrying to Samantha's school Easter egg hunt after. Rain or shine, this lil girl was ready for it. She's been talking about it all week!

We had a couple of showers that morning, so the event was moved indoors. Plenty of activities and the kids still had a blast!

{Spring Break:Downtown Chattanooga}

I couldn't help but rave again how awesome Chattanooga is for quick family getaway. Looking back at our pictures, it's amazing how we were able to see all these wonderful places with a 2 1/2 day visit. I think the critical factor is that everything is walkable. I think there was one day where we did 10.5 miles of walking. I guess you don't noticed that much miles when you are having fun.

The Walnut Street bridge is a must see.A pedestrian bridge and a great way to see the view of the river, the city and the mountains. Impressive. We very much enjoyed this stroll.

Near the bridge, is Coolidge Park. A great splash area for kids with spectacular lawn for running around.

Coolidge Park also had carousel ride inside the pavilion. Inexpensive and a treat for the kids.

A general store that sells moon pie? Who wouldn't love this. Let's just say we had to make a second trip, because we ate all the first one we purchased. Ooops.

Lots of dining option at Chattanooga, and they are inexpensive! We had dinner one night at this microbrewery restaurant called The Terminal. All these sample beer for $6!

Next door to the brewery is the Chattanooga Choo Choo. A historic hotel where you can stay overnight in a cable car. All aboard Track 29.

We stayed at the Historic Sheraton Reed Hotel. Although a bit tad old for my liking, and feel like it can use some updating, the location of the hotel, and proximity to all the attractions can't be beat. We also got a steal for our stay, by booking it thru priceline. The kids seemed to not mind all these minor details, and enjoyed an afternoon swim at the hotel's indoor pool.

{Spring Break: Rock City and Ruby Falls}

Most certainly the outdoor adventures and experiencing nature was our favorite part of this trip. What a blessing it is to be able to see the beauty of these marvelous places.

We lucked out and came in at a time with no crowds. We literally had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed the quality family time, talking and marveling about nature with our kids.

Thumbs up for the Gnome Villlage. Lots of Gnomes around the area and it's truly magical!

Hiking and navigating thru tiny spots between rocks were so fun. Here's a Fat man squeeze.

Worth it to be reach the top and have spectacular view of the 7 states at one location.

We love nursery rhymes so seeing a Mother Goose Village inside a cave was a great surprise. Impressive!

Rock City is truly an enchanted place! We very much enjoyed walking the trails.

The kids became forever fans of those magical Gnomes.

From one amazing place to another, we ventured next to Ruby falls. I thought Samantha would a lil bit apprehensive of being 1120 feet beneath surface. But she did just fine and really enjoyed this wonder. We were at the beginning of the line and William had this awesome opportunity of being our tour guide's sidekick. He got to really talk to Mr. Bill about the awesome formations inside the cave.

We were rewarded with a view of this beauty! Nature is amazing as William said!

What a great time for our family. We love exposing the kids to different experiences.
