{William's 1st Christmas Program}

I used to laugh my you know off at stage mommas. Funny how life comes in full circle because at William's first Christmas program, I was a bonafide stage momma. Actually, William had a stage family---Mom and Dad, baby sister,godparent and grandparents included. We all have been looking forward to this day and we were all extremely excited for William's big day.

A family photo op before the program starts.
Samantha cuddling with Grandmommy!William was so excited to have his Grandparents and was showing his classroom off.William is so lucky to have a loving and very involve godfatha!I adore this picture. Look at William's big smile. He was so happy to have all of us there. His eyes were beaming with pride.I was a proud momma. You can barely hear and understand the lyrics to the songs that his pre-school class were singing, but I was clapping, bopping my head, dancing and grinning ear to ear. I love this kid and will always be his biggest fan!
He really enjoyed his big night. He had a great time hanging out with his Bffs Ethan and Jackson post their Christmas program.
A big smile from the star of the night!

{Sweet Christmas Cheers}

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Tree is up.
Stockings are hung.And our elf, who William named Timmy, has officially been at our house.The kiddos love it! It's not your "Store" Christmas tree. In fact, it's a lil bottom heavy (courtesy of my eager toddler helper), filled with school project paper ornament and some goofy ornaments. But it's our family tree. It makes us smile whenever we look at it all lit up. Samantha of course has attempted a couple of times to grab the ornaments and gifts.
Sweet cravings and indulgence are satisfied. Here were are decorating our Christmas cookies.Quality control inspection is a must!
Our Christmas cookies!
A Christmas tradition...Making of our gingerbread house!
Yum! Fun family night!Our 2010 gingerbread house!

William insisted that he decorated this year with no help. So we let him go at it. I think it looks absolutely adorable! Of course, a day after this was built, candy pieces were miraculously missing daily :)

{Pink Pig 2010}

The Pink Pig is a must do Atlanta Christmas Tradition. Big Brother has been twice, 2009 & 2008). This is Samantha's first and she was mesmerized by all the colors and action. Wish it wasn't freezing but that seems to be a recurring theme lately in our hometown.

Priscilla the Pink Pig was taking pictures with adoring fans on the pink carpet.William got his ticket. William enjoying the ride.

Kids must be seated on their own sit. I was quite nervous for Samantha but she did just find sitting next to her Daddy. She looks like a big girl in this picture.
We can't wait for our future Pink Pig adventures!

{Santa at Phipps 2010}

Ever heard of a big drama booking Santa appointment? Yes, it can happen. This year the computer glitch with booking Santa at Phipps cause quite a commotion over the internet and mommy groups. There's not enough fingers in my hands to count how many worried posts I saw on facebook when people were unable to book their appointments on opening day. By the way, I am also one of those who posted in facebook, stressed for a couple of days and all. But let me tell you, this Santa is the real deal and I would go through that again just to make sure that my kiddos get to see him :) He is just worth it!

My dear William of course is such a "Santa pro". Remember his previous visits---2008 & 2009? Clearly, he loves the guy! Here he is making his list.
And not to be outdone, Samantha did her Santa thing as well. Not a lot of smiles and she was constantly intensely looking at Santa and trying to figure out who is this guy?
The kid's 2010 Santa picture.I so wish I can figure out how to upload our DVD to the internet. Their conversation went something like this.

Santa said, "So William, you want some Batman for Christmas?"
William responded, "No Superhero". Bless, Santa's heart, he improvised and said "Like Ironman?" William's eye got bigger and happily said "Yes!" I love how confident and comfortable he was talking to Santa. Another thing I love about this video is that it shows how thoughtful William is and how much he loves his baby sister. Shortly after the Ironman conversion, William voiced to Santa that Samantha wants a princess. He is such a great big brother and always looking after her.
Here's Samantha calmly looking at Santa one last time.
But 10 minutes of sitting at this man's lap is just too much for this 7 month old...."Mom, I gave you a couple of non-crying shots, now get me out in here" :)
Overall a great Santa trip! Definitely, a special moment for us. It was so surreal to be in line with two kids this year. Each year brings precious memories and I look forward to many more visit with our Santa!

{2010 SEC National Championship Fanfare}

In addition to traveling, Ed and I enjoy going to events with friends. My heart squeals with delight that both of our kids love it as well...not that we would love them less if they didn't :) We totally hit the jackpot with two outgoing kids!

Ed and William's team,Auburn played and won the 2010 SEC National Championship. It was held in town, so we decided to partake with all the festivities!

Ed's lil Tigers at the CNN Center!Family photo op
We love visits from Monica and Clint!I can't wait for Samantha or William to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated one day :)My adorable and fun kiddos!Of course William's Godfatha Michael spoils him and carried him in his shoulder. William love it!William enjoyed every bit of activity offered.We love everything orange...including orange slushies :)Pep Rally fun! William was so excited to see Aubie. I was a lil worried about how Samantha would react with extreme noise, was pleasantly surpised that she didn't mind it one bit.
