{Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer}

I'm one of those who's a big stickler to no Christmas stuff before Thanksgiving. When Heather and I made plans to take the kids to the Center for Puppetry for Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, I thought it was for the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It worked out well though since I got a text from Ra that they were having the lighting of the Christmas tree at Atlantic Station. We already had made plans to go there after the show for dinner, so it worked out perfect! Since I am all about "breaking the rules" lately, I went ahead and dressed the whole family in Christmas colors :)

What a great show it was. The kids loved it! Samantha got a lil scared when the Abominable snowman showed up, but she definitely loved all the singing in the performance.
They had a crafting station set up after the show. We had so much fun making our Abomindable snowman puppets.
This is our first time making it to the Lighting of the Christmas tree at Atlantic Station. Loved the chilly weather we had for the night. Really felt like Christmas is just around the corner. The kids got so excited when they saw reindeers with antlers and all.
I picked up reindeer noses for the kids as their treat post Rudolph show. I figure, it'll also be fun to see them light up at dark.
Fun parade!
Anxiously waiting for the Christmas Light Lighting.
 Jackson, William, Samantha and Brooke found a balloon to toss around while waiting for the lights.

What a fun night with friends. Great kick off for the holiday season.
 PS: We've also been listening to Christmas music per Samantha's request. We have this Mickey CD with 10 Christmas songs sang by the famous Disney characters. Kids loved it!!!

{William's School Thanksgiving Lunch 2013}

This is our first Thankgiving lunch at William's new school. It's bigger than what we are used to, but the school did a fabulous job of welcoming all the families.

{Trick or Treating 2013}

We had a  great first trick or treating at our new neighborhood. A cute picture of our lil ones in their adorable outfits. Samantha chose to be Izzy from her favorite show Jake and The Neverland Pirate. William chose to be Inky, the blue ghost from Pacman.

The birthday boy requested to go to his favorite sandwich place for his birthday dinner.
Daddy and his Trick or Treaters.
Both kids had a great time meeting kids from the neighborhood. What a fun event this was. Almost all of the homes in our neighborhood were handing out candies (good ones, might I say) and partaking in the festivities.

{APS Fall Festival}

William's school hosted a fabulous fall festival. What a great turn out it was, with so much activities to offer.

Tumbling, jumping and twirling with a hoola hoop (or as Samantha would call it "Huly hoop").
William got some good arms for the pie throwing boots.
We had a great time seeing friends. We also enjoyed the food trucks at the festival.

{William's 6th Birthday: Spooky Backyard Bash}

For William's first birthday at our new home, it's only appropriate to have a spooky theme party, after all he is a Halloween baby. This past Saturday, friends and family joined us, as we celebrate our almost six year old boy.

Little sister was not feelin' the pictures and was ready to go and party.
The weather was perfect for all the outdoor fun activities set up!
Time for cake! Everybody corralled to sing Happy Birthday to our special guest.
To say that we are blessed would be an understatement, our hearts are so full from all the love from friends and families. I've (with a lot of help from family) achieved my goal for this party...to make everybody comfortable and not focus on the small details.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY William! We love you so much!
