{Atlanta Soccerfest: #ibelievethatwewillwin }

Last Sunday, we joined 20,000 other Atlantans to watch the USA vs Portugal game. We have no idea what to expect of the events, but since it's only a mile away from our house, we decided to give it a go. I'm glad we did because we had the best time ever!

This was the place looked like pre-game.

Lots of entertainment for the kids pre game.
Mike stopped by and hang out with our family for a few.
Here's a lil family soccer match before the USA vs Portugal game.
Here's what the place looked like after minutes before the game. It was wild and the energy was insane!!!
We didn't grabbed a win that night, but it was still a solid performance for the team and enabled them to progress further. Here's to the cutest lil girl USA soccer fan! She drew two soccer players dribbling the soccer ball. I asked her, how'd she spell USA. She said, I looked at my shirt...hence her view of her shirt while wearing it led to the order of the letters in the drawing.

{Father's Day 2014}

Special day to celebrate the best Daddy in the world!

The kids made Ed the cutest father's day gifts this year. Setting up the table with presents for him to open once he gets back from his morning run.
He LOVED every single one of it. We picked up this shirt to get him dressed right for this year's FIFA World Cup. William also read to him in German the card he made for him.
William made Ed a box to hold cellphone and knick knacks. Orange and Blue at the bottom. He wanted to make all of it in that colors but he ran out of sticks at school.
Samantha gave this cute gift to Ed. My Dad ROCKS!
We went out for a quick brunch at a cafe near us.
The afternoon was spent relaxing and hanging out with great friends. B is one of Ed's favorite person so it was a great day for him to just watch soccer and hang out. Well deserved fun and relaxation for these two awesome dads.
In the background though are kids who were just so excited to be together. I love them all!!!
What a great day for this #1 DAD!!!

{Carillon Beach: Memorial Day Week}

We've vacationed at just about known community along 30A/Hwy 98, I can honestly say Carillon Beach community has been my favorite. A mile of private beach access makes this gated community the best vacation spot for family. Even on a holiday week, there was only one row of beach chairs. Divine relaxation and plenty of room the family to just enjoy the beach.

The picturesque neighborhood made the perfect backdrop for some family pictures. Hooray for our cameras self timer. Feeling patriotic in our red, white and blue outfits.

 These two are growing up way too fast.
A good part of our days were spent at the beach. We are that family who stays in morning to dusk. With our packed lunch and sunscreen we are good to go. I am thankful to have beach loving kids.
The boys boogie board a lot and caught great waves.This beach trip also reminded me how much William has grown. He was very confident being around the ocean and can pretty much jump to break the waves.
We played a lot in the sand and had digging our way to China.
Rock on!
A family morning jog at the beach.

Samantha has mastered the art of relaxation with a lil meditating at the beach and lounging at our beach chair.
We stayed at one of the condos at downtown Carillon beach, convenient to all the activities around the area, and still within 5 mins of walk to the beach.The night we came in, there was a wedding in the square. We had dinner at the balcony and enjoyed "free" live music from the band. It was awesome! This gift shop Shipwreck was right below our condo and was full of cool treats and toys.
They also had a screen on the green one night. They were showing Alladin. Samantha fell asleep early that night. William asked me to be his date at the movies.
During summer, they have concert at downtown Carillon. After a full day at the beach, we were too exhausted to go  downstairs (Lazy bums). Our condo's great location allowed us to still enjoy the music and had dinner at our balcony.
I think we dined at the balcony just about everyday. They opened a new Donut Hole shop near our condo, so we picked up some donuts from breakfast one morning.
Pier Park was near Carillon, the kids loved checking out all the knick knacks stores. William was amused with his first trip to Ron Jon.
A lil Italian ice treat for the kiddos.
A grown up treat for Mommy.
Another awesome beach trip for our family. We look forward to our annual vacation at the beach.

{Kindergarten Celebration}

Oh what a great year it has been for our kindergartener. Feeling very blessed to also have been part of the immersion program. Being the inaugural year for the program, there has been a couple of adjustments along the way, but I couldn't be happier and appreciative for our experienced teachers. We are also very fortunate to be surrounded by these wonderful group parents. Lots of investment and time from everybody on making sure that this program is successful. You have to apply to the program, so families actually want to be there.

Seeing the kids in our class during the celebration, singing their German songs, my heart just grew bigger.

Our proud graduate!
The German Consulate gave all the graduating class this cool medallion.
The kids had a petting zoo for their post graduation party.
Another snuggle for this guy. We are so proud of you!
