{2013 Father's Day Weekend}

We had a great time celebrating Ed this weekend. We also enjoyed family visiting and seeing our new home for the first time.

Donut breakfast for Daddy and giving him work shoes for his father's day present.

Family game of Rock Band.
The kids loved playing and snuggling with GG and Aunt Soni.
We also had fun shopping and making ourselves comfy(kids napping) at Ikea.
And we all very much enjoyed some good ole BBQ at DBA.
It was a lovely weekend filled with lots of love and gratitude for Ed, an awesome Dad and Husband.

{First Summer Camp}

I have to admit, I was extremely nervous with William starting Summer Camp. Camp, just sounds too big. He's been going to Primrose all his life so it was nerve wrecking to drop him off in one of the biggest camp in town. I should have not been, and trusted how my son's outgoing personality will just be fine. He had a big smile on his face at pick up and was so excited to tell me how his day went on our very short car ride home (Yipppeee).

The camp offers plenty of fun field trips and adventures. But, what I am loving more is there is so much focus on good deeds and God. We are not necessarily super religious...we are your typical Catholics :) We go to church and pray. His camp is managed by the Baptist church near us. I am loving how each week they have themes and Psalm for the week.  The first week, William said he had to memorize his "Song", and we quickly realized that he was saying Psalm.

This week is VBS for the camp. They've been focusing on the bible. He told us that they watched a movie where the guy lost his super power because his wife cut his hair.  We figured that he must be talking about Samson and Delilah :)

This week, I also had the opportunity to witness William's natural ability. People always tell us that this kid is special and has charisma. During picked up, he walked up to his friends and said..."John, Josh and Luke this is my Mom. Mom these are my new friends at school" One of the parent, witnessed it and was just impressed on how such a 5 yr old will think to introduced friends like that.

So happy that our lil boy is having a blast. He's very much enjoyed all his field trips.
Hooray for a great first summer camp!

{Mommy and Samantha's Bow-tique}

She's spunky and definitely is a challenge...but I wouldn't change a thing. I love my girl and every silly time that we share together.

{Brother and Sister Swimming Lessons}

Last night the kids went to their first brother and sister swimming lessons. They have taken classes the past summers but I feel like this semi private setting is really helping them better their skills The kids surely can't wait to be swimming on their own.

Ms. Kelsey is such a great teacher. She made both kids feel at ease and really interested. William and Samantha both had smiles throughout their session...and that smile continued with a dinner at McDonald's post lessons.

{Primrose Kindergarten Graduation}

Our superstar graduated from Primrose Kindergarten! It was so surreal to think that this was his last day at the center. He started going when he was just 6 weeks old and the teachers always felt like family.

The Kindergarten class prepared a program for the night. William never really told us the details. We didn't realized that he was welcoming guests as the class' Classroom Ambassador.
I wish we knew coz we missed the first part of his "speech"...."Good evening my name is William Culler"
William's friends.
Performing songs for the guests.
Receiving his diploma from Ms. Klamon.
And his premonition award. Most likely to become a millionaire and have a long and crazy story detailing how it happened. Definitely appropriate for my animated and outgoing child!
Class of 2013 tossing their cap.
Lil sister was so proud of William!
Our whole family couldn't be more proud of our Kindergarten. Grandmommy and Granddaddy made it to the ceremony all the way from Texas. And of course, Tita Susan wouldn't miss this lil guy's big moment.
We love you William! Looking forward to your bright future. He said he couldn't wait to graduate from college and be a smarty pant :) Us too buddy...and we will be there for you always.

{First and Last Day at Primrose Kindergarten}

So much has changed from first and last day. William was very lucky to have passionate teachers this school year. Ms. Tegan (Director of school) kicked off kindergarten and Ms. Klamon came in later to finish up the school year. William can not only recognized sight words but he's learned to sound out words and makes every attempt to read it. I love how eager he is. I can't wait for him to start kindergaten at big elementary. I am sure he will enjoy every bit of challenge.

{The Loft}

A couple of weekends ago we bid farewell to our loft. It was a bittersweet day. 9 years of memories. These two lil munchkins have made that place so vibrant. People usually comment that you can feel a lot of love is in that house. The loft will always hold a special place in our heart. It is the home where Ed and I got engaged, home we went to after our wedding and the home that welcomed our children as newborns.
Lots of movies and playtimes were held in this family room.
Family dinners were enjoyed at this dining room. Lots of meals and cookies were made in this kitchen.
This room shared by the kids fostered such a strong bond between William and Samantha.
Bittersweet indeed but we are looking forward to making new memories on our new home!

Mother's Day 2013

Life lately has been busy...we sold the loft and moved into a new home. We took a break from moving boxes and my family spoiled me rotten on mother's day. Didn't get to spend the day with my own Mom, but I'm looking forward to her visit next week!

Ed took this picture of us. Love these stinkin' kids! They are a blessing. Everyday I am overwhelmed with gratitude that they get to call me Mommy!

{Samantha's 3rd Birthday Party}

Samantha's birthday this year was so fun. She knew exactly what kind of party she wanted to have and was super excited the days leading up to it. Samantha adores Hello Kitty and has always loved pizza. Last year at summer camp, William and his class did a pizza tour at Steve B's. I remember him telling me how much fun they had. I called the place and was delighted when they told me that they can do pizza tours as well for birthdays.

Here's my adorable 3 year old enjoying her big day!

Little chefs all lined up and ready for the pizza tour. The super cute aprons were purchased from this Etsy Store!
Chefs in action.

Guest enjoyed the arcade games at the restaurant too.
Birthday girl (and big brother) loved her birthday cake!

We are so blessed to be surrounded by such loving family and friends.
Samantha enjoyed her party and love all her presents!

Easter 2013

A beautiful day to celebrate the Lord with family. Funny story, I am trying my best to teach our kids the real meaning of holidays. Easter bunny and egg hunting is fun but I wanted the kids to know what Easter is about.  So Good Friday, I told William is the day that the Lord died...he freaked out and said, "what, Jesus died?" Oh my, I think I just traumatized my child! So much for trying to be all serious and righteous on holidays.

We attended our morning church service with my sister. Much easier to explain that the Lord is risen!
After mass, we started making our way south to meet family for brunch and more egg hunting. We made it just in time for the Country club's annual egg hunt. They had a small crowd of egg hunters and there were more than enough eggs for everybody.
We enjoyed brunch and it was great spending time with family. My nieces and nephew are growing up way to fast. My kids absolutely adore them.
Easter basket goodies from Grandmommy and Granddaddy are always a favorite of the kids. William got his giant Skylanders and Samantha got a sassy cat Webkins. How appropriate for her! :)

{Easter Egg Hunt 2013}

We met up with friends for breakfast and then headed to our church's annual Easter Egg Hunt. It's been raining in Atlanta and was so happy that we got some sunshine during the egg hunt.

These kids are growing up way too fast.

My expert egg hunters.
The boys were happy to take pictures with the Easter bunny.
This is the only picture of Samantha "with" the Easter bunny :)
William also got his face painted with a bunny.
Kids checking out their loot. As you can see William is already enjoying his candy!
The church's Boy Scout built this fun area around the church ground. The kids had so much fun playing in there. These slides were perfect for that steep hill. The kids had fun sliding over and over and over.
These cutie pies are so adorable. I am so glad that Teeball brought all of us together. We adore the J family. Sad that they moved up in the suburb, but so glad that we are still able to get together.
Then at night the Easter bunny came by the house to give the kids their goodies.
