Happy Birthday Mason

We went to Tennessee this weekend to celebrate the birthday of a special boy...Mason. It was delightful to see William and Mason together. They sure are cute babies!!!

6 Months

Happy 1/2 year birthday William! Mommy and Daddy are so thankful to have you. The past 6 months has been filled with joy that words can't describe. We love you so much sweetie!  Daddy baked a special cake for you!

6 months is also a major milestone and shots time. Here are some stats and fun developments:

• 17.75 lbs; 26 1/4 inches
• Very, very friendly but always looks for Mom and Dad.
• Loves to eat solids. Have tried sweet potato, banana, applesauce, yo baby yogurt.
• Wakes up really happy and babbling a lot.
• Loves to play and play and play!
• Curious as he can be. Always reaching out to things.
• Rolls around. Scoots his body. In the mornings, Mom and Dad always finds him in the corner of his crib.
• Looks at pictures in books and loves to flip pages.
• Has chunky legs --- even our Pediatrician noticed :)

Spring Fling

William had his first spring fling at school...and we won a cake during the cake walk.

We had a blast! To top it off we won the school raffle for a free week of daycare. What a lucky day!

William's Baptism

Our wonderful friends and families joined us for a very special day for Mister William. We had his Baptism service at our church and we were so happy to share it with everybody. Many of you have travelled from a distance and we so appreciate your time and effort. Ed and I were so overwhelmed to be surrounded by your presence. Your kindness and generosity continue to inspire both of us to be a better person everyday. We hope to pass this along to William.

We followed up the service with a sumptuous and tasty lunch at Fire of Brazil restaurant. The setting was gorgeous, the food delish and filling but the company was what made it for us.

Spring Cleaning

He's grown so much in the past 5 months. I got a little silly too and put him into some of the things he wore the first month.

5 Months

More firsts...

Yey! William just started sitting up on a tripod position. He can pretty much hold it for 3-5 minutes.Eating at his high chair. He is such a good eater. He likes eating rice cereal and opens his mouth wide as he stares at the spoon. Too funny! We started mixing some bananas on his cereal and he loves it!!! Watching TV. Really getting into all the GPB shows and Sportcenter. You'll often hear him babbling back to the characters. He especially love Super Readers.

Easter Pictures

We all got up very early(way too early) Easter Sunday for the 7AM Easter mass at our church. It was held outside so it was freezing. Luckily we were able to take some shelter inside the activities building and hear the service faintly. Glad that we bundled William up in blanket so he was warm and comfortable in his car seat.
We spent the rest of the day at Granddaddy and Grandmomma's house. William went Easter hug hunting with his cousins Brooke, Paige and Jake. They all had fun and got great Easter baskets from their grandparents.
