It's been almost a month, since William had a dirty diaper. He's been really good at letting us know when he has to go. Wet ones are still a work in progress but a week ago, we got this note from his teacher asking us to start him in big boy underpants. We we went shopping for some cute ones and William has been doing great!
This makes me smile really big....almost all of this week and last week, when I pick him up, he'll still wearing the same pants and underwear from early in the morning. He's almost there! We are so proud of him!
He'll hate me for posting this when he's grown, but I couldn't help but share this cuteness and excitement!

{Visit}
Last month, Aunt Sonny, Sara and Kelsey were in townfor the SEC women's basketball championship. It was nice that we were able to spend some time with them in between games. It was so much fun! Here's William showing some love for his aunts and their beloved Lady Vols!

On other news, we had a very productive weekend. It's week 34 and we are "almost" ready for our baby girl to arrive!

{Sunny Day at the Zoo}
After weeks of snowy and cold days, we finally had one sunny weekend in February. Our family decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and spend our morning at the Zoo Atlanta. William loves animals and enjoys going to the zoo.

{Ed's Birthday}
If you have been following my blog, one thing is very apparent...I am extremely blessed to have a husband that's very involved. Ed has always made it a point to spend our "free" times together. It could be as simple as grocery shopping, going to the playground, shopping, etc. He's always with us and you can imagine how much impact this has to our son. William has a strong sense of family structure!
Everyday I thank the Lord for giving me Ed---the best husband and friend! The greatest Dad to William and to our lil girl! Happy Birthday Ed!
The weekend of Ed's birthday, we actually had a Sunny day. Shocker---no snow :) We took advantage of this nice weather and invited friends over for some burgers and hotdogs. It was so nice to have something from the grill!
Here are some pics from the party.

{Sweetness}
Raising a toddler is definitely challenging. Lots of convincing(negotiating), whys and whats but it's also the sweetest age. My favorites at the moment:
- Ask William what do lil boys say? He'll answer: "I love you Mommy" Awww!
- He'll say, Mommy big kiss and leans over and showers me with kisses. I love this!

{William's 1st Trip To The Circus}
Last weekend was special, it was our first family trip to the circus-The Big Apple Circus. I love the big tent set up for this circus. It really made for an intimate experience. Our sits were so close to the acts. William did "decent" throughout the show. The show has a lot of acrobatic performances and it was a lil different from what he was expecting. The books that we read about circus show plenty of animals---zebra, lion, giraffe, elephant, etc. He didn't see any in the show so he felt indifferent. Ed and I on the other hand certainly LOVED the show!
Yummy cotton and cracker jacks! Hmmm....the smell of it really reminds you of circus.
Ed and me.

Can you say wow!

"Reading"
William always loved books. We read about 3-4 books as part of our night time routine. These are long story books too. Amazing how he sit still to all of them. It's also very common to find him sitting in his room flipping thru pages of books. I don't exactly know where he gets this interest (since both Mom and Dad are technical and not big readers :)). But, hey I'll take it!
Lately, he's been big into "reading" the story to us. Technically, it's probably picture recognition, but hey I still think it's pretty cool! Gotta start somewhere :) We are sooo proud of him!

{Big Boy Bed}
Look who moved to his new toddler bed! William absolutely LOVES it! He's been sleeping in his big boy bed since day 1. He's so proud that he can climb in it all by himself. He also enjoys sitting in his bed while reading books. He loves his Toy Story beddings and pillow. All of his stuffed animals (Eeyore, Tigger, George, Mickey, Koala bear) moved to his new bed as well.
