Thank You

Our daily morning routine when William wakes up - pick him up from crib, give him lots of hugs and kisses, prepare and warm up his milk, lay on the bed and cuddle while he drinks milk from sippy.

This morning when I handed William his sippy --- he said "tey u" on his own. My jaw about dropped. Now, the past few days I've been using the words "thank you" a lot around William. When Ed gives him food, I try to say "thank you Daddy". When we give him something he ask for, I say thank you for him and then he'll say thank you after.

Well today, he said thank you on his own. I thought it was the cutest thing. Ed and I strive real hard in making sure that we teach William respect and kindness. It's amazing how our lil one is discovering it. I love it!

Georgia Aquarium

Finally had the chance to take William to the Georgia Aquarium this past weekend. We went with Allison and her parents :) This place is spectacular and gorgeous to look at. The kids had a blast and was so amazed at how big the place was. So big that by the time we reached the last 2 exhibits, they were both soooo exhausted and were ready to go. As expected,the place was jam packed. We arrived during the first hour it opened, and it was nice to catch the first few exhibit in peace.

He's Got The Moves

Ed and I make it a point to chat with William's teacher when we do drop offs and picks up. We love hearing their stories and feedback about his growth and development. Well, one day Ed stopped by and the kids were all dancing.

William's teacher said that the kids loves dancing but William, "he's special". Ed raised his eyebrow a bit and she went on explaining how he's the only one who spins when he dances. That's our boy! Hahaha! Here's a video of him bustin' a move :)

Happy Birthday Tito Nestor

Two weekends ago, we celebrated my brother's birthday. William was soooo happy to see my family. He was dancing, running around and laughing. It was a sight to see!
Pictures with Lolo (My Dad). My family has been visiting and spending a lot of time with William. This has got to be the cutest thing---he can now point and identify Lolo, Lola (My Mom), Tita Susan (My sister) and Tito Nestor (My brother).A safety violation....but he's having the greatest time riding with Lolo.

A Nice Afternoon at The Park

We've been having real nice weather here in Atlanta. I know odd that it snowed just a couple of weeks ago and now we are in the 70s. So, I took one day off from work and we met friends at the park. To say that William LOVES it is an understatement. He was running around, tumbling and just having a good ol' time.
Julie, Sarah, Karen and Kate we all had a blast and we hope to see you guys again soon!
Here's my Ladies Man! LOL!

{Teacher's Pet}

Just like his momma :) Every morning, William gives his teachers a big hug and kiss. It is the cutest thing! His teachers said that he's a very affectionate kid. I can sooo see that. He says hi and waves to people whenever we are out and about.

{Children's Museum of Atlanta}

After much raved from my Mommy board, we decided to make the trip to Children's World Museum of Atlanta and it certainly didn't disappoint. Denny, Kara and Allison joined us for this trip and the kids had a blast!  Sheena, I agree that this place is Toddler Heaven.

The place was certainly designed to encourage kids to experience the power of imagination and delight of learning.

Here's William driving John Deere tractor.
Playing with ball.
Grocery Shopping
Adventures in the sandbox.
Wheeeee! Slide!
Climbing and tumbling.
Our lil Picasso, painting.or lil Engineer(just like Mom and Dad), exploring.William's favorite section of the Museum, the fishing pond.

{at 15 months}

Haven't blogged for a while. We've been extremely busy, re-organizing our house. It's a must do once a month when you have a toddler in the house. Toys everywhere and we had to some what bring some order (we'll see how long we can keep it that way).

William is doing great! He had his 15th month check up and all is well. Our doctor said that he's right on track and is growing well.

  • Stats for this check up: 23 lbs 7 oz (34%) and 31 1/4" (51%).
  • He's also saying a few words --- dog (his favorite and makes the bowowow sound), book, ball, momma, daddy, turtle and door.
  • He LOVES books. Even his teachers made a comment about this. Kids will be running around during story time and William's sitting and ready to look at books and listen.
  • It's amazing to see how he's such a monkey see monkey do. Whenever somebody's laughing, he'll try joining in and do a fake laugh (it's hilarious).
  • It's been really hard to take a picture of him lately. He RUNS not walk.
  • He's also learned to throw ball and I must say, he's really throwing them well. Hmmm...I think I need to hire an agent now. Hahaha!
  • He's all boy - loves car(makes broom broom sounds), loves watching any sport, gets really excited when he sees big kids playing basketball at school, raises both arms when football was on and climbs at chairs, stairs, playground--fearless!

Here are some recent pictures of our big boy!

He loves his chair. Lounges on it, climbs on it all the time, lays his head when he's tired.

{Christmas Day}

William was a little more aware of Christmas this year.  He must have been a good boy because Santa gave him lots of presents. It was so fun watching him open his gifts. He couldn't quite decide which toys he should play with first. Ed made us a breakfast casserole and pancake for brunch. I had to pause a couple of times coz I kept thanking the Lord for all these blessings. After lunch, it was off to granddaddy and grandmommy's house. William was literally mesmerized by all the toys around the Christmas tree.Look at that big smile on his face.Granddaddy gave him a big Christmas tree cookie.  To say he LOVED it is an under statement and don't you dare take it away from him.
The grandkids had a great time opening their gifts. Ed's parents always find the coolest gifts.

Here's William and me in our matching red and blue Christmas day outfit:)
