{Samantha's 1st Birthday Party}

Seems like yesterday, I was just announcing our lil princess' arrival. Amazing that it's been a year. I told the hubby that I can't even imagine not being a family of four. We have been extremely blessed and we are thankful for all these.

Samantha is truly the baby of our family. Lucky, lucky girl and spoiled rotten by Mommy, Daddy and big brother William. Her first birthday party is a family effort and we are all so happy that all turned out great for Samantha's first birthday. Big brother William picked the candy theme (inspired by his favorite Candyland game). Daddy's attention to detail came in really handy in putting together the banner and other decorations. Mom's vision completed the party for this special one year old.

A quick family picture.
A shot of the sweets table. Party package decorations were purchased from Etsy seller Totfulmemories. She was awesome to work with.
Mom and Samantha picture and a quick view of the table set up.
One of my favorite party decoration was the cupcake tower. Loved how they turned out. Yummy cupcakes were purchased from Publix.
For food, we served variety of Jimmie John's sandwiches, pasta salad, sausage tart, chicken fingers, chips and pansit (Filipino Lomein).

The kids loved all the candy goodies .I wanted to make some sort of candy theme cookies for the party. I love how the peppermint shape cookies turned out. Not bad for an amateur baker :)

When William was lil, we met this wonderful face painter and balloon artist. I was determined that one of these days, I will have her for my kids party. Nicki of Magicman Entertainment was so great to work with and the kids enjoyed getting their face painted and playing with their balloons.

We set up a bubble station outside and the kids absolutely loved it! It was such a huge hit!
The birthday girl's favorite part of the day was eating her smash cake. She demolished it! :)
Samantha really enjoyed her birthday cake. It was so cute to see how serious she was eating this whole cake :)
Granddaddy helping her get cleaned up.
What a fun day it was! Samantha was surrounded and loved by friends and family. Unfortunately my Dad didn't feel well the day of the party and had to missed the festivities. He was looking forward to this day and toughed it out and drove to Atlanta. They drove back to Vidalia that same day and he was rushed to the hospital.

My precious 1 year old, I hope you had a fun party! You are very special and loved!
