{A Visit With Santa 2013}

I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive when I found out that Phipps has a new Santa. We've been seeing Santa Johnny since William was a baby. Our new Santa is definitely a rookie, but I see his potential. What a pressure it must be to replace an "institution" in Atlanta. A couple of shaky moment with him, but his heart is in the right place and I know that eventually, he'll be a  pro.

Kids with their list. Between my family and Ed's, the kids get tons of gift. To make things really special, we encourage each kid to ask for only two gifts from Santa.

William's Wish List:

  • Angry Bird Telepod
  • Hobbit Heroica
Samantha's Wish List:
  • Minnie Playhouse
  • Sophia the First Boombox
Oh the humor of this visit, Samantha would not sit on Santa's lap. She'll talk to him, but no sitting on his lap. William is still enthusiastic, and eager to let Santa knows his wish list. How kind of Santa, to kneel to make sure that he gets to talk to both kids. I'm pretty sure at his age, that is not comfortable. I do appreciate that he found a way to still engage Samantha.
We always make sure to purchase the DVD from their visit. You never know what the kids are telling Santa and it's hilarious. No shortness of surprises in this visit. We found  out that Samantha would not speak up on her Christmas wish list, but would not hesitate one bit on toddle telling on big brother to Santa. William was shocked, and had to get little sister in trouble too..but my kind hearted boy's guilt kicked in, and did not really want Samantha to miss out on gift and had to say " just a little".
I'll let y'all watch the videos.
Also, gotta love Santa's southern drawl! Kids are looking forward to getting their presents from Santa.

I had no idea they did DVDS! So cute! The kids did so good and were so polite!
Again, William reminds me so much of my nephew when he was young. Adorbs.
