I have to admit this spring break road trip was just ah-mazing. The kids were very enjoyable to travel with and we just had a great time bonding together as a family. When my brother moved to Baltimore a couple of years ago, we made plans to one day make the trek up North and visit him. Spring break this year was the perfect time to go.
So much to see and explore at Washington, DC. We spent a whole day exploring and walking around the National Mall. Weather was perfect and what a special place for kids to learn the great man and woman of this country.

William has been reading a lot about Abraham Lincoln and his monument was a favorite on this trip.
The World War II Memorial is beautiful with all the surrounding states and fountain.
Looping around the Tidal Basin to see Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and Franklin Roosevelt Memorial
Climbing the Einstein Monument was fun!
We were in there a couple of days before the cherry blossom festival. The cold weather delayed the bloom season, and some were just starting too.
