{Sprayground}

It's been hot in Atlanta so a trip to the sprayground was definitely a must. We were joined by our friends Luis and Omayra. It happened to be Luis' birthday week too so we all went to Zaxby's (his favorite restaurant) afterwards. Waiting for Luis and Omayra!

Love the splash park!

Samantha was all about blocking the water :) A fun way to cool off!

{Who's a Big Girl?}

SAMANTHA!She moved to her Young Toddler room yesterday and did great! Shocked Ed and I because Samantha is very picky with strangers. It is so true that your kid will always surprise you. Usually a kid would stay half day on the infant room and half day on the Young toddler room. She did so great on the first day and stayed in the Young toddler room the whole day. Yay Samantha!

We kinda get the feeling that maybe it was time for her to move. She's been tagged as the "helper" in her baby room and was always exploring stuff. I picked her up yesterday and she had a big smile and was happy exploring all the new toys! William has been looking forward to this day because it also means that Samantha will now be going to the breakfast club with him for the part of the morning. Samantha's new teacher Ms Kelly was William's old teacher. She was so sweet and sent Samantha a sweet note to take home. Ms Madeline is another new teacher of her. As we were leaving yesterday, Samantha waved bye bye to her and blew her a big kiss.

Hope all continues to go well for her this week!

{Fernbank}

I've been a blogging queen lately :) Trying to post all the fun stuff that our family has been up to. I love reading back at old blog posts. I hope that William and Samantha will enjoy reading them as they get older.

On to another fun activity, a trip to The Fernbank Museum especifically to check out their latest permanent exhbibit, the NatureQuest.
We of coursed invited our close friends,the R family. William and Allison pretty much have grown together. We hope that Samantha and Shannon will foster a great friendship just like their sibling.

A family picture inside the museum.

BFFs forever. These two are so adorable together!

NatureQuest is a really cool place. It's very hands-on learning focused. Everywhere you look, there is something to explore.

Even the lil one enjoyed it a lot. She climb to just about anything she can climb on.

In this area, balls pop out from one of the pipe. Big boys were really into but lil Samantha insist on waiting until she caught a ball herself. She was soooo happy when she got to pick up this ball.

The dinosaur exhibit is always a hit with kids---and grown ups.

We heart taking pictures on cutouts :)

The museum was also having it's Mythic exhibit. William love playing with this interactive game where you can configure your own dragon.

Samantha loved looking at this unicorn.

A fun visit to the musuem. We ended our day with a quick trip to Atlantic station to enjoy some more outdoor time and most importantly indulge on some yummy ice cream!

{Sweetness}

These two adore each other like it's their business. Love them both to pieces!

{Savannah}

The hospital that my stayed at had a mandatory quiet time implemented across all units. It gives the patients, staffs and families time to just take a breather. We always made sure to take advantage of these especially the kids are with us. One weekend, we all took the break and stroll thru Riverstreet. My family especially my Dad love Riverstreet. It really is the best way to experience Savannah. The cobblestone walk and eclectic hotels,antique stores and fun restaurants are truly unique!

Riverstreet offers plenty of choices for restaurant. For lunch, we decided to go to Huey's. Rated in Yelp as #1 brunch spot in Riverstreet. They offer plenty of options and a fantastic view of the river from every table.

Ed is a big bloody mary fan. He said this one was yummy! I had an oyster po boy and it was fantastic! Huey's is definitely a must try.

Samantha liked the coloring table entertainment.

Mom and my big brother approved as well! So glad that Mom went with us. She was staying with Dad throughout his hospital stay. She's a super wife and deserves this big break!
We also made sure to check out the infamous Savannah Candy Shoppe.
Every square foot of this shop is brimming with candy. It is heaven for kids and kids at heart :)
William was mesmerized by these colorful Jelly beans. He wanted to try them all!
Samantha and me in checking out the barrels of sweet goodness!
Boats from all over the country pass are constantly passsing by riverstreet. Lil boy enjoyed seeing all of these. We even checked out one of these "Capt Hook" like boat.
My favorite part of our trips to Savannah was I also got the chance to spend time with my family. My sister flew in from the Philippines and stayed here in the United States for 2 weeks. It was nice to catch up with her. Miss her a lot!
My family also always dine at least once to Golden Coral. Have you tried their bread?
It's delicious!
