{Savannah}

The hospital that my stayed at had a mandatory quiet time implemented across all units. It gives the patients, staffs and families time to just take a breather. We always made sure to take advantage of these especially the kids are with us. One weekend, we all took the break and stroll thru Riverstreet. My family especially my Dad love Riverstreet. It really is the best way to experience Savannah. The cobblestone walk and eclectic hotels,antique stores and fun restaurants are truly unique!

Riverstreet offers plenty of choices for restaurant. For lunch, we decided to go to Huey's. Rated in Yelp as #1 brunch spot in Riverstreet. They offer plenty of options and a fantastic view of the river from every table.

Ed is a big bloody mary fan. He said this one was yummy! I had an oyster po boy and it was fantastic! Huey's is definitely a must try.

Samantha liked the coloring table entertainment.

Mom and my big brother approved as well! So glad that Mom went with us. She was staying with Dad throughout his hospital stay. She's a super wife and deserves this big break!
We also made sure to check out the infamous Savannah Candy Shoppe.
Every square foot of this shop is brimming with candy. It is heaven for kids and kids at heart :)
William was mesmerized by these colorful Jelly beans. He wanted to try them all!
Samantha and me in checking out the barrels of sweet goodness!
Boats from all over the country pass are constantly passsing by riverstreet. Lil boy enjoyed seeing all of these. We even checked out one of these "Capt Hook" like boat.
My favorite part of our trips to Savannah was I also got the chance to spend time with my family. My sister flew in from the Philippines and stayed here in the United States for 2 weeks. It was nice to catch up with her. Miss her a lot!
My family also always dine at least once to Golden Coral. Have you tried their bread?
It's delicious!
