Gotta love the power of social media. This day was on one of our weekend trip to Savannah to visit my Dad at the hospital. We got in on Sunday at around 5ish and after loading up our luggages from our trip, we sat we on the couch to rest some,. I checked out facebook on my phone and saw a bunch of my Mommy friends posting pictures of their trip to Perimeter mall to see the cast of the new Cars 2 movie. William was sitting next to me and said, "I wanna see them". Told the hubby about it and he said let's go. So we loaded the kids back to our car. Gotta love him!
The mall is about 10 mins away from our house. We made it in time before they loaded all the Cars back in the Truck. Also found out that this is only one of their 2 trips to Georgia. I was really glad that went because William enjoyed it so much. Found out from his teacher the next day that he was telling everybody that he met all the Cars2 characters :)
William happened to be wearing his Cars shirt that day so it was so cool that he was dressed appropriately for the occasion.
State Farm Insurance sponsored the event and they had photo booths set up to take pictures with the characters. Here's the whole family in front of superstar Lightning McQueen.

This momma just have to brag about my super smart 3 1/2 yr ol boy. He demolished this matching game! Even completed the difficult level at a record speed. Way to go William!
We (especially Ed :) ) can't wait for the movie to come out. They already have a father and son movie date planned to see Cars2.
