{Spring 2012 Tee Ball Opening Day}

William had a lot of fun playing tee ball last fall and decided he wants to play again this spring. I love that our neighborhood has an active parks and recreations group and you can tell that families are invested and want to make sports a great experience for their children. The city had it's first opening day ever and it was filled a lot of excitement for all the kids and parents. There were bounce houses, activities and all.

Big smile and excitement from our tee ball player.
This year William is a Washington Nationals. He is loving the "W" hat. Go Nationals!
Team lining up.
The Boys Scouts marched in with the flag for the National Anthem.
How adorable are these lil ones with their hats off and hand over the their heart? They were all so excited and have been practicing the hand over their heart position before the parade even started.
Mayor threw the first pitch. Let the games begin!
We had some time before William's game so we grabbed some quick lunch at the concession stands.

The different stations were so fun and perfect for young ball players.
Then off we start with our first game. William was the first batter. He's baseball ready for that home run!
