It was a busy weekend for us. After staying up late for the past couple nights for the wedding, we got up bright and early for the Sunday Easter service at our church. I wouldn't change it for anything. We are extremely blessed to be surrounded by family and friends. We are so thankful that we all are healthy and able to celebrate and live life to the fullest.
A quick family picture at church post mass.
We grabbed a quick breakfast with my family and Mike.
Then we started heading south to meet our my in laws for Easter brunch. The country club had their Easter egg hunt earlier, we were pleasantly surprised to see more eggs were still available. The grandkids were so happy to hunt eggs before the big brunch.
Samantha getting a lil help from cousin Brooke and Granddaddy.
She figured it out and started doing her own thing!
Checking out their loot.
The boys giving high fives to the bunny. William said he doesn't think it's a real bunny because he saw dark hair peeking out of his bunny head.
One of the highlights of the weekend is that I finally met my new niece Grace. I had colds and fever the day she was born so I didnt get to see her. This auntie was sooo happy to hold her!
These two had so much fun chatting away at lunch. We had to keep on reminding them to eat their food. After lunch, the grandkids gathered around to get their Easter goodies from Granddaddy and Grandmommy.
The boys approve their Skylander themed goodies!
The kids had such a blast. That night, William said to me that it was the best Easter and he loves his family!
